L’Oreal True Match Natural Finish Liquid Foundation

L'Oreal True Match Natural Finish Foundation

In my opinion, L’oreal makes some of the best drugstore foundations on the market today. They have different variants catered for different skin types, with a wide range of shades selection to boot. Take the L’Oreal True Match Natural Finish Foundation for example. There are 11 shades available here in the Philippines, which is more than enough to cater to different Filipina skin tones. It does have a good mix of cool, neutral, and warm undertone, perfect for every skin complexion.

The L’oreal True Match line comes in two variants; Natural Finish and Super-Blendable. I do like them both, but if I have to choose, I would go for the latter since I’ve found my exact shade (W4 -Natural Beige) in this variant. You can read my full review on the L’Oreal Super-Blendable foundation here. Nonetheless, both foundations offer a lightweight and skin-like finish.

When it comes to foundations, I am a bit partial to mattes, like the L’Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh and Pro-Matte. But I have to say, the True Match line has a truly lovely finish. It yields to a my-skin-but-better look, which I sometimes prefer if I’m going for a light and fresh makeup look.

Here’s 7 out of 10 shades. I am missing three shades because I’ve already given them away to my friends. For reference, I have a medium skintone and I am in the shade G4 – Gold Beige. Although, at the moment, I’ve switched to G5- Gold Cream since I’ve gotten a few shades darker after a 2-day beach trip in Glan, Sarangani.

What’s your skin type? I have combination skin (normal to dry), is it good for this type of skin? 🙂
