Manicure Mondays: Nautical Hearts

It’s been an incredible weekend and I feel like I’m on hungover. When I woke up this morning, all I wanna do was to lie down and get some more snooze. But Monday is Monday. There’s no other way to get away with it than smacking it in the face. It’s a slow start of the week for me, but still better than lying around doing nothing.

To pump me up, I decided to do some nail art. I did a bit of spring cleaning on my nail polish stash last week and managed to unearth some unused bottles.Β One of those is thisΒ Chic Nail Color called Raven from the Kathryn Bernardo Edgy Collection. Again, I’m not a fan of KB, but I do like the shades in her collection. I decided to create a nautical design as I find the shade fitting for this theme.

I was hoping to drawΒ an anchor on my ring finger nail, but I couldn’t get it right. I tried to redo it thrice, but to no avail. In the end, I decided on adding two gold hearts, which I think still works. I do, however, love the color combination. Definitely reminds me of sea, sailors, ships, pinup girls- all that good stuff. Β It makes me want to run away and hit the beach.
